When you leave please ensure you dispose of all your rubbish, players leaving their rubbish can and has made cleaning up a total nightmare!
Hall Facilities:
The hall is equipped with full kitchen facilities and both male/female showers.
Disability / Access:
Disabled toilet facilities and ramp access to the building are available at this venue.
Due to the nature of the event access to some parts of the venue may be difficult for wheelchair users, however extra arrangements can be made.
Please contact us by email prior to the event so we can discuss your individual requirements (contact@lanraiders.co.uk).
Network:
Our network uses only high-speed T-Base 10/100/1000 1gbps switches with a dedicated DHCP and firewall server.
Internet:
All players have access to the internet through a shared high-speed connection.
File Sharing:
Internet usage is restricted to general browsing and email/IM only, if you need to obtain large files (more than 30mb) you must consult a member of staff. File sharing over our network is totally unlimited and we give you a 1gbps network infrastructure for this reason, however.
PEER 2 PEER FILE SHARING OVER THE INTERNET OF ANY KIND IS NOT ALLOWED AND WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING REMOVED FROM THE EVENT!
This may sound harsh but if one person loads up a bittorrent client or similar it can kill the internet speed for everyone at the event. We really can’t stress this enough, if you use internet P2P software on our network you are out the door and you won’t be coming back, ever!
Power:
You will be provided with 1 power socket at your desk, you must bring a power strip with you. Please do not daisy chain power strips off each other as this causes power cuts.
Seating:
Unless you email us with a specific request seating is managed on a first come first served basis.
Official Servers:
Details of official LANraiders servers are published on our blog on the day of the event.
Refund Policy
We have recently reviewed our refunds policy and concluded we are willing to give refunds but NO LATER than 2 weeks prior to the event (no exceptions). ALL refunds will be subject to a £5 cancellation charge to cover PayPal fee’s and general processing expenses.
