We hope you are currently enjoying the new look LanRaiders website!, Since the launch we have continued to add and tweak features on the website to give you an even better experience. Listed below are some of the changes recently made to the website:

Design Changes:
 

New look logo – Fonts and design have changed slightly to be become more appealing, eye catching as well as easy to
read

Login / Registration Bar – Check the top right of the website for the all new drop down login bar!. We know a few of you had issues with being able to easily find a link to login or register, so we've listened and added in the drop down box which we feel will benefit everyone.

Forum Design – The forum has now gone from a narrow layout down one side of the website to a full width layout which ties in-line with the rest of the website. This is both aesthetically pleasing, as well as a lot easier to use.

Gallery Design - The main gallery page now displays a single thumbnail icon next to each link to make it easier to find the gallery, as well as being easier on the eyes

Front page Design - We had some feedback not long after the website launched that the front page appeared a bit cluttered. We have now removed all adverts from the front page, which we feel has made the page look easier to read / navigate, as well as less cluttered.

Bug Fixes:

Emoticons - Any Emoticon images used on the website previously resulted in mis-aligning any text near it. This has now been fixed and displays correctly along side of the text

Gallery Images - Whilst hovering over gallery image thumbnails the highlight previously put the other pictures out of alginment. This has now been resolved and no longer occurs

Forum Permissions – A few minor permission bugs were brought to our attention which resulted in users being able to edit topics which were not their own. All permissions have been re-edited and checked to ensure this does not happen

Forum Login – The forum login now works alongside the drop down login / registration box in the top corner of the website. Previously the forum would ask for a login twice, or not login correctly.

Forum Posting – Previously when posting a topic or reply, the textbox was displaying the incorrect text editor (BBCODE), this has now been corrected to a Rich Text editor, which provides the user with more tools when posting on the forum

Payment System – The payment / Booking page now displays the participants "player name" rather than full name

Payment System – After payment has been made Paypal now redirects you back to the correct page, rather than the previous 404 (Page not found)

Post Authors – Each non forum post on the website now correctly displays who the author of the post is. This is displayed along the top of the post, along with the time and date of posting.

Backend Fixes - Multiple bug fixes to the backend admin section
