Game Reviews

Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection (Xbox360)
14/03/2012 -Luca Tosney sits down with the Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection and decides if old dogs have learnt new tricks or if the sleeping dogs should be left to lie.

FIFA Street(Xbox360)
12/03/2012 -Going back to the streets or at least the roots of the franchise, EA Sports have taken over from the no longer used EA Big who previously took charge with FIFA Street titles. Gone are the over-the-top, unrealistic stunts that the predecessors had – This is street football and EA are demonstrating how realistic and beautiful it really is.

Twisted Metal (Playstation 3)
11/03/2012 -For those who have followed the series since it first took off on the PlayStation back in 1995, welcome back. Those whom are new, well there isn’t much like Twisted Metal out there. Check out the review right here.

Nexuiz(XBLA)
10/03/2012 -Tournament shooters have been a little depraved recently since 2008’s Unreal Tournament III by Epic Games. Nexuiz impresses though – read the review to find out what we thought!

Ridge Racer Vita (Playstation Vita)
10/03/2012 -Ridge Racer on handhelds seems to have upped the game when you looked at the 3DS version, being the shining light in what was a rather average and drab launch line up for Nintendo’s console so you would expect more of the same for the Vita, a showcase of what this handheld by Sony can do.

Rayman Origins(Playstation Vita)
09/03/2012 -You don’t get games like Rayman Origins anymore. Colourful, vibrant and cute – doesn’t fit in well with the last few years of gaming that has focused on gritty, gore and destruction of life in most titles. Read the review to see how we found it’s venture onto the Vita.

I Am Alive (XBLA)
08/03/2012 -I Am Alive is finally released by Ubisoft after 6 years but was it worth the wait? Maybe not.

Mass Effect 3(Xbox360)
06/03/2012 -Bioware has certainly set the bar when it comes to Role Play Games and there is no exception with the Mass Effect series which, after two stellar titles that are up there with the best games ever made, Mass Effect 3 is now here to finish up the story.
